Ethiopian Dance Off

I was in Ethiopia a little while back. Incidentally, you may know that's where we're adopting Haven from, but I wasn't there because of any adoption stuff.Anyway, while I was there some friends and I went to a "cultural restaurant" called Yod Abyssinia. This was one of those places where you go eat the local cuisine and they have traditional music and dance to entertain you while you eat.

At one point in the program, the dancers left the stage, came out into the audience and randomly selected people to dance with them.

I was one of the people chosen.

I didn't realize until later, when I was called up on stage, that this had been an audition.

What you may view below is footage of what happened next.

You're welcome.
