Written by Chris Kinsley in the third person. That’s weird, I know, but it’s just the way it is.
Chris (or “Kinsley,” as he’s more commonly known) is a thinker, writer, speaker, producer, procrastinator and all around swell guy. He scores as an INTP on the Myers-Briggs personality test and a DC if you prefer the DISC personality profile. According to some inventory he took once, his spiritual gifts are teaching, preaching, faith and prophecy. He thinks that’s great but has also been praying lately for healing, wisdom and mercy. Seriously. Though a certified genius (that statement lacks documentation, actually), school has never really been his thing. Still, he somehow managed to graduate from Mississippi College with a B.A. and then acquired (through any means necessary) a M.Div. from Beeson Divinity School on the campus of Samford University. In his spare time, Kinsley likes to read, play Xbox, watch movies, canoe, camp, work in his yard, and build things. He loves to travel, having visited five of the seven continents within a year and hopes to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro one day (hasn’t happened yet; this could be the year). He tends to do things in patterns of three, five or seven. Chris has been a follower of the Way of Jesus Christ for a couple of decades now and sometimes can’t believe how much he still has to learn. It’s probably going to take an eternity (wink, wink). The Kins currently makes his home in Birmingham, AL with his lovely, patient, kind, understanding and beautiful wife, Liza, their long-awaited daughter, Story, and Haven, their child they are in the process of adopting (you can read about that here). He also likes parentheticals (in case you couldn’t tell).
Here’s what some people are (perhaps) saying about Chris Kinsley:

“Chris is dynamic at teaching others the word of God, unbelievably creative, awesome at anything he does, and an incredibly thoughtful husband whom I love so much I could smush him up and put him in my pocket to carry around with me always!!!” – Liza Kinsley (Isn’t that sweet and frightening at the same time?)
“Chris is a thinker. Often uneasy and restless, constantly imagining and creating.” – Hannah Wilkerson
“[Kinsley is] a stand-up dude.” – Erin Moon
“The theologian formerly known as “Kinsley” is wise beyond his years.” – Becca Davis (She named her daughter “Kinsley,” though not after the Kins, but now she feels weird calling him “Kinsley” and has just gone back to “Chris,” but that’s probably more than you wanted to know.)
